THE CHURCH

An Online Home Church With The Mission To Serve God

Homily Fellowship serves under the umbrella of the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Australia – wesleyan.org.au. We minister as one of the local churches in the state of Victoria. Our mandate today is spreading scriptural holiness –

the message of perfect love, which is to love God with all our heart, with all our mind and with all our strength, and to love our neighbour as our self.
[Mark 12:30-31]

Homily was founded on 2nd April 2017 as a house church, which gradually developed into an online church, meeting through Google Meet since 2020. We pray to connect with people within and beyond Australia.

We welcome you to contact us by email at [email protected]

Humble and Trust in the Lord! – 2026 New Year Message

Wishing everyone a blessed 2026! “Humble and trust in the Lord” is a common phrase often used to express a religioussentiment or instruction, particularly within the context of Christian faith. It encourageshumility and reliance on God. Psalm 131 with only three verses speaks exactly thissentiment to us. Lord, my heart is not proud; my eyes are…

    A Prayerful Life

An encouragement to give time to pray (devote) with our mind and our heart – be alert and be thankful! A time of quiet prayer can be the most peaceful time one can enjoy. “Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.” – Colossians 4:2 An encouragement to give time to…

    Meaningful Worship

Meaningful worship is one of the deepest needs of life, yet it is the weakest point in most of our worship. This is because of the lack of spiritual power, the lack of inward peace, and the failure to be genuine followers of Christ. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the…
